What is life insurance?
Life insurance is an agreement between
you and an insurance carrier. In exchange for your premium payments, the
insurance carrier, in accordance with your contract, promises to pay a certain
sum to a beneficiary when you die.
Why would you need life insurance?
Most people buy life insurance to replace the income lost when they die. This
insures that your family will be financially protected. However, there are many
other reasons to buy life insurance depending upon your stage in life and what life changes you have recently
incurred.
